Big News!

I’m back baby! LOL!

Can you believe I haven’t blogged since June? I had intended to blog occasionally over the summer so I could enjoy time with my kids. But that didn’t happen (the blogging, not the time with my kids:) because…

WE BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE!

And the summer was officially gone.

Moving to the Countryside

For some people, this was and will be a complete surprise. But for us, moving to the country from the suburbs has been years in the making.

When we found this property, it was a “coming soon.” Oh, let me tell you, that was torturous. BUT, when we were finally able to check it out…We all knew it was the one!

The gorgeous land

It’s the property that sold us. I think my personal Facebook post says it all.

The Country home

As for the house, you will need some vision.

But I was super pumped to have a remodel project. I know, most of you will be like…You’re crazy…remodels suck! And they kinda do, ain’t gonna lie.

I’ve been wanting to create a home for us that is all me. And now I get to do just that without any remorse, because this home was built in 1978 and still looked like it.

A little featured side note Below:

Small Kitchen No Problem1

The No Rules Home was featured on Redfin!

In the summer chaos, I was approached by Redfin to be a featured blogger in an article on organization for small kitchens. At first I ignored them…so sorry Redfin…because I thought it wasn’t real. But the lovely lady was persistent and I’m so glad she was! I finally told myself, “what the heck. This seems legit.” Very exciting to see your name featured in an article. Please check it out by clicking on the image above.

The great part is that most of the changes I would like to do are cosmetic. The home has such good bones. It just spoke to me and I could envision it completed. And it’s going to be amazing. You just wait.

For now, I leave you with some before photos. Feast your eyes on these. Can you see it?
